A year ago today, Pharrell Williams brought together the best of the best to remind the world the talent that not only has come out of 757 but the community that surrounds it. Something in the Water was the first of it's kind -- bringing together not only influential artists but it (once again) put 757 as a place to not mess with. I created this design, inspired by the Companion character (KAWS) and the Neptune Statue on VA BEACH boardwalk (IFYKYK), shortly after the VA BEACH shootings that took 13 lives, a year ago. During that time we sought answers in a time of confusion, despair, and uncertainty. Today, we are in the same place-- but for a completely different reason. This year, we reminisce on "Something in the Water 2019" because COVID-19 has completely altered the way that we interact, share music, engage in love, and connect people. Even though, one of our favorite music festivals have been cancelled, it's not a see you a later it's a see you soon. Through pain comes strength. Through turmoil comes diligence. The further apart we are, the stronger we become together. 100% of Proceeds will go to a relief fund in 757 or provide support for a 757 health related effort. Thank you @Stxxy_ for the visuals brother. All love. I DO NOT OWN THE KAWS COMPANION DESIGN OR ANY RIGHTS TO NEPTUNE VIRGINIA BEACH CITY STATUE

NEKI've been doing art since I was a child with my older brother, Jordan Moore (AKA YED.SLIME). When I was younger my graffiti tag name was 'NEK' (first three letters of my name backwards). Since then, it's somewhat stuck. Archives
